It would always reroute the looong way round using roads rather than putting a straight-line section for my little shortcut.After reading the gaiagps.com feature request forum, I realised I had to click from my snap-to-trail point to a point Simple when you know how but it was a little hard to find.When I created my route, it was snapping to dirt road, but then it did straight line for part of it too.

On the data summary page for your route, you can edit the name of the route by clicking the current title. akinney031081 The routing feature will also measure distances within the app. Sort by Date Votes.

In the meantime, when creating the return portion of your route I recommend creating the return routepoints to the side of your route and then drag and dropping them onto the existing route.New feature request done !
