There has been a lot of controversy in the community lately regarding the recently released premium ship Graf Zeppelin, and we would like to share an update on the situation, as well as our thoughts on how we believe we should proceed. The weak torpedoes and already wonky DB reticle were balanced around these speeds among other things.

I can hardly finish off enemies that my team asks me to do as well, with what fragile the planes are already.

GZ is fun, Kaga can be fun particularly the TBs, I almost never use Saipan. That's kind of surprising to hear because her most effective DD-killing planes are tied for dead last in the speed race at tier 8.

While the attack fighters with their limited munitions and regular over pen offers mediocre damage versus dds, their consistent ability to aggro dds and land hits, makes them viable. Graf Zeppelin was first released for sale worldwide on 21 August 2017. It can often land 3 strikes in the time others might take to land 2 due to that wiggle. Entire squadrons can be vaporized if you're not careful with AA.

), so the only other option she has that's "fast" is torpedoes that are pretty middle-of-the-road. People think she needs a buff. Her most striking difference from Implacable, her tech tree counterpart, is a lack of torpedo bombers, forcing Indomitable captains to double down on her attack aircraft and level bombers.

They were so bad in the old version that at least they flew fast and made stupendous scouts. LOL how do you make the worst Dive Bombers in the game even worse than they were before? I believe Kaga is currently the most powerful T8 Cv in the game, due to the combination of all of this.

Beyond that, If the planes are slow (and assuming they aim as quickly as other rockets) then you should fairly easily be able to land that first attack run.

Her DBs are AP, so they do overpens at most (and you only hit with two bombs in a run at most!

All it needs to do it keep continuous planes on me and their team mates that are still alive will all start firing on me. Thx Google! Of the 3 Kaga is probably the consensus pick. Tons of planes,  four torpedo bombers per,  IJN's only HE bombers if that's your schtick,  and the only 200mm secondaries in game currently.

I have all of them including enterprise and I will say you will get a different answer on which is better from just about everyone here.

[WOLF3] Enterprise is nearly perfect, its only annoyance is the slowness of its planes.

All it takes is those fast planes and some radar CAs and gunboat DDs on the front lines making pretty much an effective wall and I can be sitting behind my team’s lines grumbling  quietly to myself lol.

[C-CA] The Kaga feels like you are flying sticks of melting butter and the Saipan feels like  you are taking off with half a squadron and always grasping for planes, especially when bottom tier.
